Please note: you are not able to drive your vehicle all the way to the yurt. To preserve our trails (and your vehicle), you will park and we will shuttle you and your luggage to the yurt.

Amenities

Hand-crafted in the traditional style by Littlefoot Yurts in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, our twelve foot yurt is deceptively roomy and airy inside.

Nestled in the woods, on the edge of beautiful Urquhart’s pond, you have ample privacy to create your own eco adventure.

With a comfy (yes, actually comfy) futon and additional cushions and seating, you’ll be cozy while you sleep and relax inside the yurt.

Outside, you’ll find seating on the deck overlooking the pond. A picnic table, fire pit and outhouse complete the picture.

And don’t worry. Even though the site doesn’t have electricity or running water, we provide plenty of fresh, clean drinking water… and you can always use the shower, washroom, and charging station at the nearby boathouse!

  • firewood (use wood from around the property)

  • solar panel and LED lights (with enough power to charge a phone)

  • fresh spring water for drinking

  • washing basin for dishes

  • paper towel

  • sheets & towels

 

What You Should Bring:

  • food, drinks, clothes and beach towels… but that’s it!

  • Even though you can’t drive yourself to the yurt, we will shuttle you and all your luggage down, so bring as much stuff as you like!
